The toi et moi origin began in 1796 when Napoleon Bonaparte proposed to Josephine de Beauharnais with a gold ring featuring two pear shaped gems, a diamond and a sapphire, each representing one half of the couple and symbolizing two souls united as one.

Diamonds and Gold: Clean with mild soap and warm water. Store separately to avoid scratches. Remove before physical activities or exposure to chemicals.
Precious Stones and Gold: Wipe gently after wearing. Avoid heat, prolonged sunlight, chemicals, and excess moisture. Store separately in a soft pouch or lined jewelry box. Remove before applying cosmetics or swimming. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners (except for rubies and sapphires).
