As a child, while other first-grade girls were building friendships, I was in a hospital bed recovering from hip surgery, in traction, in a body cast, and relearning how to walk. During that time, all I had was my imagination, a box of crayons, and a drawing pad. I dreamed of going back to school, walking again, and simply fitting in.

But that’s life—our stories aren’t defined only by the battles we face but by the dreams we pursue and the courage it takes to keep moving forward, even when the odds seem stacked against us. There are moments when I wonder, “Why am I here?” Yet, as a creator, I believe my purpose is to spread love, offer beauty, and help others navigate the complexities of life with grace and resilience.

True beauty lies in kindness and how we make others feel. We are drawn to the things that evoke good feelings—whether it’s a peaceful place, a kind heart, a cherished memory, or a piece of art. For me, creating fine jewelry is a way to express all those emotions in a way that’s powerful, elegant, and comforting.
