The Ruby Falls Necklace

$1,200.00

A ruby and diamond necklace honoring the story of the Osborne Brothers, authors of the song inseparable from the University of Tennessee experience and the state of Tennessee: Rocky Top.

Before Rocky Top, there was Ruby.  Bobby Osborne sang the song Ruby on his first radio broadcast as a teenager.  The Osborne Brothers performed that special song the night they became members of the Grand Ole Opry, and since then, it is their good-luck song and a signature for the Osborne Brothers.

But there is also another fun story that relates ruby to the state of Tennessee.  The song See Ruby Fall was written by Johnny Cash and Roy Orbison.  It is an homage to the beautiful underground waterfalls near Lookout Mountain, Tennessee known as Ruby Falls.  And always, for even more fun, be sure to find Dolly Parton's song, Ruby, Don't Take Your Love to Town.
